Bar Pataya and Gran Bar

A restaurant chain contacted me to design websites for their two new openings. The websites of their other branches followed the same structure to maintain a link between them. So I wanted the two new sites to have the same structure but their own personality.

Same structure, unique personality

Designing two pages with similar sections helped users navigate the page and added cohesion to the branding. Restaurants had different vibes, clients and products, so their personalities had to reflect that.

Bullfighting and the sea

Bar Pataya was based on the bullfighting traditions of Córdoba. It used labels from bulls as a design resource. Gran Bar offered lots of fish dishes. Its page design included watercolour drawings of the sea that reflected the effect of water on paper.
